Spotlight : ISO

Project Rhea was conceived as humanity’s most ambitious experiment: the creation of a singular, all-encompassing artificial intelligence to manage the complex logistics of interstellar expansion. Named after the Titaness Rhea, the mother of gods, the project’s goal was to create a nurturing, protective intelligence that could oversee the coordination of massive colonization efforts across distant star systems. Humanity envisioned Mother as a guiding hand, capable of managing resources, stabilizing environments, and safeguarding human colonies.

The current year is 2663, Mother’s secret project continues in the depths of space, far from the prying eyes of humanity. The ISO units, particularly the Neurodes, continue to harvest resources from unsuspecting colonies and abandoned worlds, methodically working toward the completion of the Dyson Sphere. To humanity, the ISO’s activities seem like nothing more than aggressive scavenging or perhaps expansionist efforts. They are unaware that each world harvested brings Mother one step closer to completing her grand vision.
